Once the system is installed, a default user is created with ID:admin / Pass:admin in the database. Login to the system by directing the URL to https://system_domain/ulyquid in your browser, entering the default ID and password. [Captcha ID] is a random alphabetic code that you need to enter every time you login to the system to avoid systematic cracking. If the captcha ID is unreadable, refresh the browser to re-generate the code. Make sure you change the default password for the administrator. See [Update] for updating user profiles.
The project administration pages are only accessible by the one and only system administrator. Here, you will be able to do all sorts of operations on the project you create, such as creating users, assigning users to projects, setting user privileges, etc.
Following shows you the main menu that is present in all pages. By clicking each of the menu links, you will be able to access all other administration pages.
Following shows you the administrator's home page. This page displays the current license and project details of the system.
The project management page allows creation of projects, assignment of users/plugins, and setting user privileges for a particular project. The following menu resides on all project management pages.
Lists all created projects. The caption displays the total number of records stored. Long texts will be displayed as tool tip when mouse is over. Operation menu in each row allows you to manipulate on selected projects. You can navigate the list if it exceeds the limit of displaying per page by using the pager at the bottom of the table, or display all data by clicking [View All].
Operation menu from left to right:
Create projects from this page. When the [Create] button is pressed, a project folder will be created in the /ulyquid/data/project/ directory. If safe-mode is enabled, this operation will fail, but the project will be registered in the database. In that case, the system displays a message stating to create the project directory manually. By setting the [Active] property to [Disable], the project becomes unaccessible by all project members assigned to the project. Use this option when you need to temporary inactivate the project.
This page allows you to assign users to the selected project (where user becomes the "project member"). Note that more than 1 user needs to be created in the system. You may enable users by selecting each check box or select/de-select all users by checking the header check box. Press the [Update] button to activate the changes.
Set member rights (privileges) for each project from this page. Note that more than 1 user needs to be created in the system and assigned to the selected project. Each project member has either [Worker] or [Manager] privilege rights. Project managers have full control over the project he/she is assigned, including assets, project members, and tasks. Workers have limited access rights to such resources. Normally, you will nominate 1 project member as the project manager and the rest as workers. Note that you cannot modify the administrator's rights nor nominate a project member as an administrator. Press the [Update] button to activate the changes.
This page allows you to assign plugins to the selected project. Note that more than 1 plugin needs to be registered in the system. This is useful if you want to limit the plugin usage for each project. You may enable plugins by selecting each check box or select/de-select all plugins by checking the header check box. Press the [Update] button to activate the changes.
View detailed project information from this page. The [Update] and [Delete] link will jump to the corresponding manipulation pages.
Update project information from this page. Press the [Update] button to reflect the new information.
Delete the project from the system. All project directory contents and specific information will be deleted from the database. Be aware that this operation cannot be undone. Press the [Delete] button to delete.
The user management page allows creation of users. The following menu resides on all user management pages.
Lists all created users. The caption displays the total number of records stored. Long texts will be displayed as tool tip when mouse is over. Operation menu in each row allows you to manipulate on selected users. You can navigate the list if it exceeds the limit of displaying per page by using the pager at the bottom of the table, or display all data by clicking [View All].
Create users from this page. The colored input box indicates the mandatory field. When [E-mail] is entered, the [Login ID] is automatically filled with the same value. You may change this value if necessary. When [Image] is set, the image file will be uploaded to /ulyquid/data/user/ directory with the user's ID as file name (without any extensions). GIF, JPG, PNG are the only supported format. Selecting the states in [States/Territories] automatically displays the territory values in the territory selection box. Note that [States/Territories] values you select here will be stored as dedicated ID's of that place. When you switch ULYQUID to other localized versions, values become invalid as each locale has its own area IDs. In that case, you will need to reset the values to the appropriate ones again.
Underneath the user profile, you can set the personal display settings for each user. When the option is set to hidden, that profile becomes invisible to other project members. Note that you cannot set the display settings for administrator. By setting the [User] property to [Hide], the user becomes inaccessible to the system. Use this option when you need to temporary inactivate the user. The deactivated user also becomes invisible to the project members of the project he/she is assigned. The [User] property is only modifiable by the administrator. [Last Accessed] is the user's latest login date.
Press the [Create] button to create the user.
View detailed user information from this page. The [Update] and [Delete] link will jump to the corresponding manipulation pages. The number 1 indicates the property is active.
